I think genetics play a bigger role in this than we’ve been lead to believe. Even with all the junk food I eat in my cheat meals, running lots of that thickens my blood, and walking around well over a healthy/normal weight mine has only ever been slightly elevated.
For now.

Is this what we are calling it?SAWCE wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 5:53 pmI still think genetics is bigger. Buddy of mine that’s just a few years older has always had hypertension and has been on blood thinners for a good 10 years now. He’s even more active than I am, eats healthy 95% of the time, and uses way less gear than I do. He’s just on a TRT dose from his doctor.

Yep. Big fan of his for as long as I can remember. He won 5 Emmie's for his work on The Andy Griffith Show.
That^^ was a funny movie.

Did you know that Trader Joe's is also Aldi?wap wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 3:20 pmThey're really pretty 5/7. Good products, good prices. Cheap milk, cereal, Greek yogurt, and eggs. Lots of things from Europe like cheeses and whatnot. No frills You have to bag or box your own shit. I've been to a couple of Aldi's in Europe and they're almost identical to here, even down to the same floor tiles.
There were two others in Germany that started the original company and they eventually split into two companies over one's desire to sell cigarettes.

Same. We've each got two cooler bags that have 6 or 7 reusables in them. Takes up minimal space in the trunk.

We have banned cheap flyaway bags long ago. But now you can't use reusable bags because of the 'Vid.

Our one grocery store here started putting all their curbside pickup orders in nice reusable bags.Desertbreh wrote:We have banned cheap flyaway bags long ago. But now you can't use reusable bags because of the 'Vid.

Here most places ask you to bag if you bring your own. That’s fine. I usually do anyway.
Trader Joe they don’t let you bring your reusable in the store. You want to use them you pay for all your stuff loose and then bag it in the parking lot where they have some tables and an EZ Up tent. It works.

We went to TJ's a few days ago. Standing in line to get in, there was an old lady in front of us with a reusable bag. She was told that she couldn't use her reusable bag, and full on ensued. "First masks, now this?!? What is this world coming to?!? WHAT DOES MY BAG HURT" When the TJ's employee didn't budge and instructed the lady to put the bag in her car or on the bottom of the shopping cart, she suddenly expressed all this pain in difficulty bending over to put the bag on the bottom of the cart. Huffing and puffing, wincing, just a general show. She finally goes in, and the lady tells us that we have to wait for two people to come out because there's two of us, I informed the wife that I'd wait in the car to avoid the inside.
That old lady needs to get the virus so she knows what real pain is. It's incredible to me how old people...the people at highest risk of issues for this...are treating precautions as such an inconvenience. Go die then if it's so hard to put on a mask or not use your reusable bag.
