thread title self explanatory. guess how much less I'm being raped by moving to a free state with less s and crooked political bs
notes:. I didn't shop different providers, I upped coverage to 100/300/100, and added comp to the Miata. and comp to the motorcycle.
Guess how much Brad saved on car insurance

I'm curious. I've always heard how horrible it is for us airboaters, but never got some real raw numbers to compare it to.
If I could get out of this state, I would. Reasonable insurance would just be an added bonus

ok, finial answer:
it was full on 50% for better coverage. that's a extra 1400 a year I'll enjoy having back in my pocket.

I hate being in a state with expensive car insurance because it makes zero sense. There's nothing inherently less risky about TN than LA or MI (both the highest in the country), yet we pay drastically more for no reason.
Can't stand it.

Louisiana has way more uninsured drivers than you can imagine. If they had to enforce the law where they'd have to impound a vehicle that didn't have registered insurance, there wouldn't be any space to put them.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 9:22 amBig Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 7:15 am ok, finial answer:

This is at least what I remember from looking into it a few years ago. I could be wrong.

Why? Because insurance is way too fucking expensive! People can't afford to pay more for insurance than their car is worth. Chicken or the egg, but the root cause of the problem needs to be addressed.

in LA it's the ambulance chaser industry and the lawmakers that won't change the laws to put them out of business is a big part of it

True. I think I read it's because there's no cap for damages you can sue for. Hence all the Morris Bart and Gordon commercials.
