Still love the truck.
Installed these nerf/tube/running board things I scored for $200 through work.
And then cracked my shin on it.

Congratulations on the purchase.
I really like these, especially in desert or quicksand.
TRD Pro ramz next?
How do you find the headlights?
Halogens, and on trucks in particular, are usually bad so I hope the LEDs are at least alright.

I thought about quicksand, but I’ve always dug the cement color.Swedish Chef wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:49 pm Congratulations on the purchase.

I’m not sure about ramz.
The LEDs are phenomenal. It’s like driving in daylight. Better visibility than the GTI with the lighting package, especially with the fogs on.

Yo mr Fled. Do you mind sharing what’s considered a good deal on these. I found the #1 taco dealer in Cali which likely means # 1 in states outside of Hawaii... and they are about $3700 off msrp.
Does that sound in line?

That’s a good deal. There’s about $2400 in markup from invoice and holdback is about $800 on these things. $3700 is true loser deal on the front end on these things if the MSRP is in the 39-40 range. There’s minimal incentives on these things because they sell and hold value. Occasionally you’ll get a $500-1000 cash incentive or a mild subvented lease special. Can’t tell you the last time I saw an APR special on the east coast.
Send me more details if you want, but you’re not going to get much more than 10% off MSRP.

$1500 cash rebate from Toyota and $2100 from looks like it’s $3600. 37k msrpfledonfoot wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 10:15 pmThat’s a good deal. Ok, so they’re basically at invoice on that truck and haven’t gone into holdback thanks to the rebate. You could probably work them over for another $500 or so? Cash incentive is double what I have here in the NY region, so they’re probably clearing $500 at that price.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 10:39 pm$1500 cash rebate from Toyota and $2100 from looks like it’s $3600. 37k msrpfledonfoot wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 10:15 pm

In other news, with this warm weather I’m now approaching 21-22mpg on the commute.

You’ve moved out of V8 Ram territory and are now solidly in V6 territory.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 11:08 pm In other news, with this warm weather I’m now approaching 21-22mpg on the commute.
