We didnt have a place to try the purple. It was an option but also the mattress firm has a 60 day money back deal. I liked the idea of that. Takes a week or 2 into getting used to a mattress.
So I bought some useless junk recently...

We both had king beds when we combined households, one with a Casper and one with a Purple. Both did okay through Texas summer. We decided to keep the Casper and are selling the Purple since we're turning our guestroom into an office/gaming room. Minor comfort differences in the decision, nothing yuge.
I will say this from the moving experience; both are equally terrible to get in and out of a truck.

Okay, less at $4k. Do you. Prob. doesn't hurt the credit score either. Both of our mattresses were < $2k so swiped the CCs, took the travel miles, and paid them off before interest was charged.

speaking of points... even though our new matress is being paid for with Costco bucks....I 100% paid with credit card and will get more Costco bucks. it's like 20 Costco bucks total so not insignificant.stripethree wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 2:40 pm We both had king beds when we combined households, one with a Casper and one with a Purple. Nice. We cashed out a bunch of Chase Sapphire points for first class flights and accomodations for a long weekend in Park City in a few weeks (shit it is March already). Snowboarding, dog sled adventure, snowmobiling, spa day.Big Brain Bradley wrote:

I got that card and hit the spend amount for bonus points to book my flight to Norway/Ireland this summer. Stoked for that.stripethree wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 3:27 pmNice. More “rare” records possibly being purchased. Dude is selling the first two EPs from this band The Starting Line that we’re each pressed on 10” vinyl and sold together by this small label back in the day. Each of them is numbered 7/100 pressed, and he’s asking $200 for them together. Offered him $150. Hoping he accepts it or counters at like $175.

That’s awesome. My best friend ran the Rutgers college radio station in that era, and in their frat house basement put on a whole bunch of shows, including them and My Chemical Romance on several occasions. I need to dig out some pictures.

that’d be awesome. During that time frame I always wished I lived on the east coast since that’s where all the music I was consuming came out of.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 3:55 pmSAWCE wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 5:00 pm More “rare” records possibly being purchased. Not for now, this one is older but pretty good still, some Ferrari edition alcantera unit with 3 pedals and an add-on 7+R gated shifter.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 2:56 pmNo interest in upgrading the wheel?CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 2:10 pm Built a new PC last month:
