Sir, if I recall correctly you took a pretty major strike from some asshat woman driver prior to this check engine light thing? So you're clearing that carfox devaluation out as well in your cleansing of the Aegean stables?Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 11:43 am update.
New car has arrived at the . Has 149 miles on it. But VW asked about my parts on the car but sadly they won't cover the cost to switch them. It's fine as they've already done way more than I expected. So with the cost to uninstall, buy new stock knob, and reinstall I guess I might as well just buy a new knob and clutch bleeder block.
One thing that I will have switched over is the resonator delete so they want me to drop mine off tonight to do the switch and pickup the new car tomorrow. I don't think I can so I'll try for Friday.

And I got a diminished value claim. So did I actually make profit?
I'm looking at the knob now. I might be able to salvage it.Tarspin wrote:https://www.uline.ca/Product/Detail/S-1 ... EMEALw_wcB

Speaking of the mark of (co) Caine ....... cooler heads prevailed and Me and the boy opted out of the red go devil that was that modded ARgH..
Best of luck with your Argh 2.0, @Gberg2119
May it be carbon/misfire free and may your butt dyno stay perpetually tickled.....

You definitely made profit... you only owed what $17K and are getting $29K? THat is $12K of profit and dangerously close to actual profit with the diminished value factored in.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 3:22 pm:bingo:Desertbreh wrote:

Thanks mang. That was probably the right move. If it were simple bolt on mods I wouldn't have been as hesitant with the red R, but meth injection?Irish wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 6:20 pm Speaking of the mark of (co) Caine ....... cooler heads prevailed and Me and the boy opted out of the red go devil that was that modded ARgH..

Other way around. I only owe $12k on it and I'm getting $29k. Lucked out big time with profit.
So I accommodated the and went over there tonight to drop off my R and take the new one for a test drive. They gave me a Jetta loaner with digital cockpit and different ambient lighting colors.
Picking it up tomorrow night.
