how do you get to the little single beds, you have to climb over the couple below?dubshow wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:43 am I've decided I need a $450k sail boat. its the only option. The wife wont go out with me on a mono hull design because its too rough and she gets terrible motion sickness.
The 3 bed version is super pimp. Perfect for long trips/live aboard.
I've really been likely what Im reading on the Lagoon 42.

brain go brrrrrr
That is a composite plan. Those could be called "crew" bunks but are usually just open space for storing gear. Access is from a deck hatch. Its a real small space and silly to try to fit a bed in.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 1:44 pmhow do you get to the little single beds, you have to climb over the couple below?dubshow wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:43 am I've decided I need a $450k sail boat. its the only option. I google searched how sailboats are able to sail against the wind. Was pretty interesting. Bernoodles rool is pretty sweet. Didn't realize the zig zag was how it's possible. Intredesting.

This is like overlanding on water.

That's the idea. Pontchartrain is large. Will likely move it to North shore which is a bit closer for me.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 3:56 pmSo learn on Lake Pontchartrain and then take it out in big water?
Trying to line up a sailboat trailer in the next few months to knock out the painting.
This is a 2-3 year thing. Sell it once done.

I dont have enough time for that but I can't say I haven't charted a route that way.
24' don't inspire a ton of confidence in large open water like the Gulf.
