Dood. Just date somebody for a while. It doesn't have to be going somewhere.
Counterpoint: Don't date anyone for a while and enjoy being single.
Also fine. Either way, make it all about Barnes.

Hurricane came through and I always park my car at work since it doesnt flood there and no trees to hit the car.

A massive branch came down in my parking spot at the townhouse. It would have landed right on my car. And the branch missed my bike by half a foot. Id be willing to bet if the car was there it would have also shifted the branch to my bike. I got super lucky.
I had a similar experience where a tree fell on my driveway literally the minute after I moved the :poorvette:

Drivers window stopped working. I only spent about 5 mintues trying to diagnose so far. Took the switches out of the center console to make sure they were plugged in. Everything looks good, passenger window still works. There is a shared plug for both switches. I doubt its the plug since half of it works.

When I press the button I dont hear the window motor attempting to crank at all. Would this be the time to buy a multimeter and learn how to trace electrical? Or is there somewhere else that I need to check?

yes.

those contacts can get dirty, i think i had to disassemble my switch to clean. But buy a meter and make sure its working. if it is, then the issue might be in the door.

Brake leak just hit a new low.

Went for a drive and lost almost all pedal out of nowhere. Took it slow getting home and brought the car up on a jack. Looks like a leak from the e brake cable area. Not sure what it’s all called. I managed to swap a motor in the car but have never swapped brake pads or bled brakes before. Needless to say I had some fluid sitting around for my eventual brake flush and topped the fluid off. Wasn’t thinking about the need to bleed the brakes and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t building pressure.

Guess I will be taking the bike tomorrow and ordering a new brake caliper.

But my pads and rotors still look good. So a new passenger rear caliper, fluid and brake flush is in order ASAP.

And I’ll need to get some high temp paint to match all the red calipers on the car.

Will do it all minus the pressure wash. No pressure washer.

Hahaha heated water???? I’m happy if the car wash works. Also it’s $2 before the water cuts on.

But I managed to get some purple power, brake clean, a brush, and spray bottle for water.

Cleaned off quite a bit of grime. Even the wheel barrel was black. So it got a cleaning too. Only clean wheel on the car. Zillion would lose his mind.

Wrong brake caliper came in today. So the right one should be in tomorrow. I’ll do the swap then. But for now I’ve got a very clean wheel well and rear passenger suspension area.

Clean behind the taillights?
How do I remove them? I didn’t even beat acid. I have never removed my fenders to clean behind them like he did.

I’m getting a pressure washer soon. So that should help the car washing.

I did accidentally put some scratches on my hood tonight. I accidentally put a box on with dirt underneath. It put scratches that would buff out.

The issue is that my clear is starting to peel at spots on the rear fenders. And I’m not sure how to take care of the paint at this point.

Thinking of getting a custom plate for the car. Not sure what I really want at the moment. But this is on the top of my list.

Do I get the traditional one? Or do I go racecar and get the "carbon fiber"?
