Dang, my list is very short, especially considering my age. I'm quite the anti-

1984-1987 1970 Beetle
1986-1997 1986.5 Scirocco 16V
1997-1999 (wife's) 1998 Olds Intrigue (she took the train to work during this time and we also still had her 1987 Buick Century )
1999-2010 Mk4 GTI 2.slo
2010-present 2011 Mk6

Dude, get a Fiata. You've only owned VWs, haven't had RWD since the 80s and have never owned a sports car. The GTI is great, but time for a new experience!

Mine:
-2000 Ford Focus sedan
-2010 VW GTI oktoberfest fuckup edition
-2017 Subaru WRX STI

I'd say include them if you were the primary driver

My Taurus was supplied by my parents, they got it like one year used when I was in kindergarten . It had about 230k miles when I was gifted it and about 245k when my dad gave it to my brother because he had no money. At that time they bought new the Civic for $3k and I paid them back for it over the next couple years.

Busted oil pan on the e28, just the best pic of the car I had on hand. Car is long gone. Probably selling the M3 to a local friend trying to throw an S50B30 euro engine in it, but entertaining offers. Text me Griff balls

He has a euro S50B32 swapped into a 97 sedan, he has a euro S50B30 assembled and ready to swap, euro engines are stronger and add a lot of value to the car. My engine is sorted out, runs really strong, he’s just looking for a clean car to swap an engine into.

Other expenses in a household, Living costs money, especially in the Leafy Suburban Paradise. Also, gotta fund our travel jones. Sacrifices gotta be made somewhere and if I can only have 1 car, then it's hard to argue against a as the One Car to Rule Them All.
