Need to go back and dig up the posts on this... Deetz? His girlfriend's mom was involved?Johnny_P wrote:Well. It's his GF or his GF's mom that bought the car for him, unclear.
So.... Mother-in-law-to-be-zda?

I went to two dealerships (one to test drive and first get info and first offer), + Zil and another yesterday. My girlfriend's parents went to two others by them...and one offered 2.9% financing wtf.

I did not know this.
Also - who knows what else could go wrong with the car, you know? There were leaks in multiple areas. Coming from turbo pipe or something, RMS, and the chain areas. All I need is a chain to snap or something and the car is toast.
Zil, I truly am sorry. I wish I could make it up to you. I really do respect you and God, I appreciate what you did yesterday. Seriously. I wish you could be in my shoes for a second so you could feel my emotions and thoughts. Seriously, not being gay here .

fledonfoot wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 9:04 amThe car was toast in March. If you had fixed it the $6500 way, these leaks would have been addressed. We advised fixing it the cheap way and getting out of it... because there was no way to tell what else could go wrong.
You fixed it the cheap way and kept it. And broke more shit. And went back to a place that routinely fucks you. Of course they're going to tell you things need attention... every time they do, you open your wallet and give them whatever they ask for! You've got a dozen people waving your hands about that place, and you crawl right back to them.
You're beyond help. You beg for help. You get TONS of fantastic help from people that genuinely cared and wanted to help you out. You shit on all of it, and put yourself right back into the same situation. Asked for help again... then shit all over it again.
You keep getting into these shitty situations because you don't learn. You just do it over, and over, and over...
Anyway: here's a link for tuning the 2.5 in the CX5. Go blow it up and have them help you fix it.
The bolded still makes me
EVERYTHING we advised to do he ignored.
EVERYTHING we advised to do turned out to be 100% correct.
Zil gave him a GREAT likely friends-only deal.
Zil's great deal was ignored.
"If only we could be in his shoes!"
He's only in his stupid shoes because he ignored us and screwed Zil out of his livelihood.

He will always be the victim, throughout his entire life under any difficult circumstances. That’s how he’s wired.
Such truth,

You think you'd have learned by now to take our advice that has ALWAYS been proven to be right, even going back years to you moving out of mom's basement.nuggstein wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 10:13 amI messed up.Apex wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 9:58 am

Crang: Hey Z, I'd love to buy from you but I'm concerned about driving my timebomb down there and back if it takes two trips.
[user not found]: I got you fam. Drive it down and grab a loaner for a day or two to get everything situated. Drive back down and roll out in your new whip.

razr390 wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 10:56 amWhat about the emergency fund to pay kidnappers back after they take your sister while she’s taking out the trash?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 10:55 am
Holy that's the entire point of an emergency fund though
But I guess I'm DIW because I need to be able to pay for 12 months of expenses from losing a job plus emergency flooded basement repairs and dog needs leg amputation and surprise we're pregnant.
You can only plan for so much.
He should just let them have her and throw his mom in with the deal. It'll improve his life.

Kidnappers: We have your mom and sister. All we want in return is a working Crang shaft.
Crang, to DFD: but what should I do?

Likely, except I call on the no cell service claim. He lives in one of the most densely packed population centers in the country. Ain't no way there isn't a cell tower every 200 feet or so. It's not like he was in upstate Maine.Calvinball wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 11:34 am So crang made a point to say he was at a dillership and didn’t have cell service. I’m thinking he was there, was dillering, he had the thought that he should reach out to Z but couldn’t, and the did their usual thing and wouldn’t let him leave without a . We already know crang can’t stand his ground in person so it fits.
