Oh, any of the outdoorsy folks on here.. good recommendations for hiking boots? I found a pair of Timberlands that I like, and while I'm willing to drop money for good quality, I want to make sure I'm paying more for quality than for a name.

I have a pair of Merrell boots that I got from DSW. 5/7 waterproof/breathable/lightweight boots.

I've always loved, and gotten good mileage out of, my Timberlands. And they're pretty waterproof, too.

I also really like my Rockport hiking boots. Light, full leather upper, comfortable as hell, and also waterproof. I always wear them in Europe when I know I'm going to be doing a shit ton of walking in all weather conditions.

Good to hear. I'm also looking and the Chocorua from Timberland. A little more pricey, but they seem a bit nicer with the Gor-tex lining and stuff.
