Ohh right, I just :member: that part also. Bizarre

Also wtf is up with the doors though. Two ways to open it just seems like it is trying to hard
Two ways?

You mean the emergency pulls?

If you want the push button open that they used in the C6 and C7 you need the emergency release latches. Funny story, I actually "rescued" a guy in a C7 when it just came out at the SF auto show. He was in the passenger seat and the battery was dead on the car. He was starting to look panicked, so I had to show him the release latch. He said he was stuck in it for about 5 minutes when he thanked me.

:lolol:
Yes I don’t know I think something like doors should remain mechanical in nature and have some kind of over ride.

My current bmw without power would leave me trapped inside, since they can’t find the proper fix for the doors.
So I’m :triggered: by needless door complexity and electrifying things that have no business being electrified

I agree. I think the cool factor of the push button door releases was over by the time the C7 came out.

The main thing I dislike about Doug is Doug himself, he strikes me as someone who would masturbate in front of a retirement community.

Also considering his substantial YouTube income you’d think he would get mildly better equipment and spend a bit more time editing
lost it

He also uses the same words over and over and over, which is why my wife  when he is on. "Quirk" is one he uses way too often for things that sometimes aren't even quirky.

Also, he's oblivious about many of the things he comments on. I had to turn off the one he did recently about the C7 Z06... Also, since he "borrows" normal people's cars or gets them on Turo some of the things he sees are not normal to a car that hasn't been fucked with.
WRXMoranBoi uses "nice" far too much in his videos. It drives me insane.

Doug D. is about as bad as this guy anymore.... If I'm watching any of his "why the XYZ is worth $$$$" videos in the livingroom on the TV my wife goes :rage: when she walks in.

Also, didn't know SubuarubarubaruWRXFanboi changed his channel name...
Doug D's review of the Jeep was actually pretty good. I don't like him much either.
Yeah, I try to ignore his uber-nerd persona (I hope it is kind of exaggerated for the videos), but my wife isn't having it. A lot of the content is pretty good if you filter some of it and know that he's probably wrong about parts.

That guy does pretty good videos and has fairly little views. I watched some of his stuff... it is :notbad:

no shame in crawling. the jeep life just aint that bad.

I havent found the right :225: for mine yet. I'd like 33" tars so 33x11xr17 if thats even a thing? 285/75r17 is this closest I have found, but I am really :scrooge: and really prefer how AT tires ride.

I had Nitto Terra Grappler's back in the day. They were a :notbad: price and was impressed with their offroad ability. Comes in 285/70/17 - only about 1/4" short of 33"

I really don't like the way JK's look lifted on the stock wheels. It just looks :disgust:

You'd want to get new wheels that "poke" a bit more with the lift and they'd add a bit of stability also since you'd avoid building a narrow sky scraper for the streets.

I've run Open Country's on the Tahoe since I got it, now on second set. First set lasted 40K miles, aggressive look but very quiet on the highway. Can't say whether it's got off road chops because I use my truck like a lifted minivan.

Try a 295/70 r17 if the 285's aren't enough for you. Although the 285 is a really common tire size, the 295 less so.

exactly my problem. everyone here has the same shit fake/polished wheels. The logo in center cap can be covered. I HATE fake multi piece wheels with fake hardware.

I also like this retro esq simple wheel. I dont REALLY want black wheels though. Its not out the question however, if I find some for the right price. I think those where on closeout at the good tirerack.
