I can't recommend Napoleon enough. I got the prestige pro 500. Stainless steal grill grates are a must. I wanted infrared side burner too.
:impressive: about 1k less than Weber for the same features.

I can't figure out where they are made besides "North America" so I am guessing Mexico?
Napoleon? Canada

For whatever reason, Weber makes you spend more to get a closed bottom cabinet. Does any one want a open exposed, dirty, propane tank?

Since I got my chinese egg, I haven't touched my gas grill...and it's natural gas permanently installed next to the house.

We did steaks the other night, easily the best I've ever had in my life...including from a steakhouse, etc. Absolutely game changing.

Yes, propane. If I'm grilling, I'm using propane. Now bbq, sure, I use my smoker. Im not fucking around for 30 minutes with charcoal to cook a steak when I can do it on my infrared burner. Especially on a weeknight when I'm rushed cooking dinner.

Side note, when I go to a cookout and the cook doesn't know to let the coals all turn gray before cooking, I want to kick the grill over. Enjoy your cancer!

Set up, filled to 2/3 capacity

The highs:

1. Seems well constructed, glass door is heavy/solid.
2. VERY quiet.
3. Works as advertised, all vino resting at 54 degrees
4. Easily reversible door
5. Top shelf is double size for big bottles
6. Puts off little heat out the front vent when running

The lows:

1. The "light" is a joke, blue LEDs shining down from top, purely decorative.
2. The rated capacity is for "thin" bottles. A lot of wine comes in thicker, wider than minimum size bottles that will take up more space, NBD.

Obviously, the real question is "how long will it last?" It has a 2 year warranty, which is a good start. It's Chinese, so the the compressor isn't made by Aryans in the Ruhr Valley.

It's a nice product and it's great to pull wine out at the right temp. Things like temp, aeration, and a decent glass can go a long way in maximizing the value of even inexpensive wine.
Awesome, thanks.

The highs outweigh the lows for sure, I don't mind the light issue or the capacity, I expected that from the one I have. I have a few bottles that need to be "massaged" into the fridge I have now by lifting the shelf above it.

This is an inverter compressor unit that runs quiet and doesn't "spring" on and off, right?
Yes on the inverter compressor. Yes on the quiet.

If I'm not cooking a steak on the egg, I'm cooking it on the cast iron on the stove inside. That's the ultimate in speed, and comes out 5/7.

Too much smoke inside with that kinda heat for me. But I do plan on putting a pan on the grill and getting it rocket hot to try that this spring.

I was cooking a brisket once and had a ribeye in the fridge and decided to throw it on there. I forgot about it and it cooked like 2 hours.

It was delicious.

Also works very well on tri-tip. I've smoked a tri-tip for 4-5 hours and they are much better than being grilled.
