I've been slowly working on my disaster of an office. In the past few days I cleared the main desk top and reduced 6 boxes of shit down to 3 bags of recycling, 1 bag of trash, and half a box of things to actually keep/file. It's weird to be able to see the surface of the desk...

I love the feeling I get when I declutter.

Valentine's day is coming up guys. Any creative ideas I can steal?

My last Valentine's day was really nice. We made a steak dinner together, recipe linked below, and had a nice candlelit dinner with a bottle of red wine. Phones off, nice music playing, just us. Not creative, but nights like those are rare. Simple, but feels special.

“Scrapbook” of pictures of you guys. Grab a handful of pictures from each year you’ve been together, grab some of those thin foam sheets, cut holes in one sheet to show the pictures, glue the pictures to another sheet facebip and then lay the holey sheet over it and glue in place. Put each year on its own page, and on the back write your favorite memory from that year with her. Then “bind” all the pages together with some ribbon/yarn. Boom.
