I'd take a 308 over a 328. The interior is a lot cooler with the airplane style toggle switches. Performance ain't drastically different, you're still going to get creamed by a stock :mk6:
:turboyaris: driver won't even hit the throttle :doe: because he'll want to check out the red pony.

They really don't handle all that well either. It's a be-seen-in car at this point. A drama machine. It's good for that but I think you'd get very :disgust: at it in no time. Also, the seating position is basically :mahtroy: lean and the steering wheel doesn't adjust. And the transmissions sound fun in theory but you better buy a shake weight so you build up enough muscle to move the damn lever.
:iono:

It's a small car that looks cool and makes great noises. That's pretty much the dream. The reality would certainly suck since it probably takes an hour of labor per 100 miles of driving and costs a fortune, but that's why it's a dream.

I'm kind of over "fast" cars. There's no way to really enjoy them. I want something that rockets from 0-80. Super short gearing for lots of shifting. Makes fantastic noises. Looks cool.

I bet it would come down to which two specific tires were tested and what temperature "cold" really meant... which is why it's interesting.
It would be quite interesting as the entire country gets increasingly :truk: hungry under the false guise of "safety".
Yep, given the junk heaps that I see people driving on a daily basis and somehow not crashing I am tempted to say fuck it and roll on the summers until this Fall after we see whether the NC thing is happening.

It would probably handle pretty great with modern :ramz: and tars. It's already got dat MR layout. Double wish :boner: , too.

Bikes are definitely better at that. My ninja was a blast.

You almost need a kit car or to import a kei car to get that in a car. Maybe a 1.6 Miata with a lightweight flywheel, 6-speed and 4.78 rear end would get in the ballpark, or S2K/NC/RX8 with >5.0 rear ends since IIRC all 3 of those can use the same rear end gears.

:dat: for sure. I'd like to experience a car like that. The s2000 is a great fun car. You'd have to pay out the ass to get a clean one. I bet now you'd have to go the miata route and buy a total basketcase and fix everything yourself.

I'd like to do the 1.6 miata build but it's realistically not going to happen, certainly not in the foreseeable future.

The RX8 will have to be close enough for awhile. 9000 rpm at 61 mph in 2nd should be good for some fun without making highway cruising unbearable.

I get it. Sometimes I wish I had just gotten an SS :manuel: at 20% off and called it a day as my only car. Comfortable all the time, fun when I can enjoy it, fine when I can't.

Sometimes, I find driving my :poorvette: frustrating because it's a fire breather that I never get to really enjoy. My commute is just full of :derp: drivers, traffic, and craters. Very little fun to be had.

Too slow/small.

Maybe if you could fit 5.+ gears in the rear, that might work.

"over fast cars"
"[Miata] Too slow..."

:notsure: The ND Miata gets to 60 in under 6 seconds according to mags, so probably mid 7's for a :neek:

I want an enduro bike so bad. Even just a little 250cc shit kicker. Would be so rad.
