Thanks man. She's scheduling with her oncologist today, so hopefully she can get in later this week or eatly next week and we can figure out what's actually going on.

What do you need it to do?
For me: make a cup/ pot of coffee
For my wife:
1) be a christmas present
2) make coffee, tea, espresso, lattes, fraps, back massages, and god knows what else.
3) honestly mainly coffee would be my bet. I dont know that she can make anything else. But she may desire to learn.

Why you want dis? What kind of coffee do you want to make?

edit:
Classic is all about balanced flavor, while Rich provides a more intense taste.

Coffee is either overextracted or underextracted, there is no in between. The flavor profile depends entirely on the bean itself. Run away from that thing.
Because my wife wants it. It would be a decent present. But I dont really care. I will drink wawa, starbucks, great value k cups, donunt, breakfast blend, medium roast.

I only know when its too bitter or sweet. Bitter= add more creamer or sugar. Sweet=deal with it.

Had a good interview todayyyyy. Yesterday brought a ton of good things. I haven't signed anything for the new apartment yet, but I need to. I don't want to lose out on the apartment, but at the same time if this sudden job comes through, I also don't want to move twice and be out 1 month's rent. I think I still need to go for the apartment too. Moving twice and losing $1215 in rent would suck, but this job isn't a guaranteed. It's a highly competitive process and who knows when I would even start, if there are more interviews, AND if I even move on.

I think the right answer is take the apartment and just see what happens. Such is life.

Yup, my current place and the new place too. New place would be no roommate.

I'd jump on the new place; it's a sure thing at this point. Like you said before, worst case if you get the new jerb is you're out a month's rent.

Yeah, I am going to roll with it. I see it as having a "good" problem.

Thanks dude.

Got a minor update. She spoke with a few specialists today, everything should be scheduled by Friday. Not sure how far out they'll have to schedule, but hopefully she can get in next week.

I’m sorry that she and your whole family have to go through this. I’m sure it’s tough on everyone. Hope she pulls through.

An "all in one machine" won't do anything well and will break in a year.
Basically that. An aero press or a pour over setup will make the best coffee. Or just get a reliable consistent drip coffee maker. My black and decker one is poverty but consistent and I can make a half decent cup with it.

If you want latte and cappuccino... none of these do it all machines will make anything worth putting into your mouth. IMO. You’d need a good espresso machine.
