Did pretty well yesterday. Cam friendly course. I thought it would be more about speed and hp but it was really about how good you were beating people at braking.
6/38 Raw time. Beat the other 3 CAM guys with a lead of 1.6s. Overall was a good day. would of done well at this course and would been a good challenger.
Now I need to replace the harmonic balancer before I blows up my car.

Now I need to replace the harmonic balancer before I blows up my car.
Powerbond harmonic balancer, 12 point 1-1/16 socket, and puller ordered. $112 was the damage, not too bad.
Now I get to find the time to get to it before my car breaks into pieces.
Ok before you do anything big, go to a trusted guy and find out if its leaking from some cover on the very top of the diff or trans. This is a common issue and very quick/cheap to fix..

Just trade it for a C7 to be safe.
Or it for another povertybox with different issues

Need to do more research, this may be something I could tackle at the house in my parking spot. Gotta keep that monthly overall cost low to impress .

I still want the 4.10s but .
Mirrors and a flashlight when the car is lifted. Look for the highest point of the leak to find its source.
Still get the 4.10s if you want them. I love my 3.90s
I didn't know https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c5 ... -pipe.html was a thing. Maybe I overfilled it when I changed the fluid a while back. I'm going to pick up some brake cleaner at Walmart today. I'll look with a mirror to try to find the source of the leak, then check the level and clean it all up. Hopefully this is the fix.

When mine leaked from there, it dripped down to the bottom of the trans, not the diff. It's certainly an often overlooked leak point, but Griff is most definitely suffering from the "leaky butt". That means removing the diff to change the seals.
Or, just fuck it and keep an eye on the level. It doesn't hurt anything, looks worse than it is.
Still, 4.10's are 5/7

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

So my diff is leaking moar....
That's a lotta .
Left side @ the axle output?
Not actually the axle output, but the seal around the giant plate that seals the side of the diff. VERY common issue on C5's.
Really, just a good excuse to man up and do gears.

All cars require fixing, breh. It's a fact of life.
The cost of gears and having them setup is minimal compared to the labor to fix the leaky butt.
Sucks...if you were closer, we could knock this out in a weekend at the garagemahal. I could drop the diff in my sleep with the lift.

If it comes to paying $1k to get the diff fixed I'm not even mad about that, that would be like 5X my total repair outlay from the previous 40 months with this car. It's just... I would rather just gear the fuck out of it if I'm gonna blow that money, but the only shop I can find around here wants to charge $3k
