In a very hypothetical way I'd consider buying the truck if i wanted to off-road on a budget. IRL i wouldn't be doing myself favors buying a 1990 off-roader for DD duty from DA Farmer.D Griff wrote:Dat farmer, doe?

My brother owned one of these pretty much identical to this. It was a fairly shitty vehicle overall.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2017 9:14 am thought i search my dads old truck for shits and giggles. this one,

still brought lot of memories. I was in high school when he had it. Did my first car sex, first burnout, first drift (lost traction in rain when quickly pulling out), and offroad a blizzard. If only he had the v8.D Griff wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2017 9:19 amMy brother owned one of these pretty much identical to this. Bad MPG
Bad handling
Bad build quality
Bad performance
That is basically every single SUV ever made.

My dad's expedition drove a lot better than that car actually, slightly faster, handles better, the expedition had soft touches that doesn't feel cheap mostly on doors (unlike the trailblazer). I can't really compare his current explorer now since it is essentially a unibody.
But it was still reliable up to 110k miles, that thing took cross country trip once, multiple trips to NY, some teenage abuse when I borrowed it, and nothing really went wrong, except when the engine got tired (makes that typical american tired noises) towards end of ownership

Twas an attempt at humor on my end.
once opined that the FD was "the RX7 that looks like the C5" on a TOTD trip and and others were all .
