I'm not planning on going with the Jeep and throwing monster tires and lift on it.. There's probably gonna be a few mostly cosmetic mods that I wind up doing though just based on how I want it to look.
Time for you to get yours and we both build them out the way we want and then go take sexy pictures of them together.

I seriously need to figure out the braking mods. They were terribad...
Looks like you basically have to use a Ram 1500 brake booster+ram rotors pads I wonder if there is a decent aftermarket kit with fixed calipers. I can't imagine how bad it gets when you run bigger wheels/tires.

$419 ain't bad at all for OEM LED lights that just plug and play.. Getting LEDs into a halogen factory GTI seemed like it was typically regarded as an expensive nightmare.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:10 pmSAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:05 pm

Dig into it. If you can find the Harley 5-3/4" Daymakers and a kit to install them, I'd do a pair of those. I need to find out what my friend did to his jeep, but it makes a world of difference. I'm sure there's knock offs, and might be worth it to go that route too.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:34 pm$419 ain't bad at all for OEM LED lights that just plug and play.. I have noticed these wheels on lot of Wrangler's recent, ferrari looking wheels. I'd probably get them along with 35-37"s tires
- Smaller and less wider fenders
- Those LED headlights with the DRL circle in it.
- Roll cage style doors for summer
- Blower, not the forced induction kind
- Perhaps change the gearing to the neighborhood of 4.10's
- Metal Bumpers

Yeah, I heard terrible things about his headlights. I'd probably go with the MOPAR ones if I do upgrade the lights. I know Waxer posted up some other ones he was going to get though...

Yeah that style of wheel is pretty popular from what I've seen. It's a nice simple look, but I love the Willy's wheels that came on mine.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 6:02 pm I have noticed these wheels on lot of Wrangler's recent, ferrari looking wheels. You can't run 37s without 4.11s. There is a ton of shit you gotta do to get 37s. The proper way is at least 5-7k (you need an entirely new suspension, programmer, etc etc). That's a lot of It is not that simple...

They were about the same price as these. I dunno something about the black headlights looks offputting to me, like they just scream knockoffs, on any color outside of black. Also the DRL portion doesn't work on US based Jeeps. It works in canada only.

That was my initial thought when I saw them too, and something that makes me like the black grill on the Willy even more.

Yesser. I actually test drove that one first cause the didn't hear me ask for the I didn't get lease quotes. I've never really looked into leases, and plan on holding onto this thing for a while, so I don't mind paying it all the way off myself over a few years.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 7:13 pmAny other options ?
