Your car must be insane with the colder air. Mine is less so, but it doesn't really get affected by outside temperature like my other cars did. Consistency. I like.
Yea, it's really impacted a lot...more so than other cars I've had. Probably all in my head fake news doe.

its all about the massflow rate, colder air = more mass flowDetroit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 10:24 amYea, it's really impacted a lot...more so than other cars I've had. Probably all in my head fake news doe.
Maybe the freer flowing heads make it more susceptible to ambient air temp changes...?
FWIW, I remember my boosted cars loving cold air too. My 951 was the craziest about it for some reason, I'm surprised yours isn't more

Forced induction cars tend to like cold air better because you get a nice efficiency boost from the a/a intercooler on top of having colder air to start with.

I'm sure there's a difference on the highway or hammering it on a back road. But really this car about outside temperatures which I like. It's all the time. My GTI felt like it got the advertised 200 HP only between October and April. Anything over 65F ambient temp and the car was throttling back power noticeably. I hated that.Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 10:24 amYea, it's really impacted a lot...more so than other cars I've had. Probably all in my head fake news doe.

Your tarz also have a lot less grip when they're cold and on cold pavement.Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 10:24 amYea, it's really impacted a lot...more so than other cars I've had. Probably all in my head fake news doe.
