I think all 3 pics were from my last session which is generally my quickest.

Fun story: Putnam has a new surface, and very few if any of the attendees (other than me) had ever been on it. Usually the instructors will lead out on the first session, but none of them showed up in time for the first session, the track went green, so I took off.

Knowing the pavement, I got up to speed quickly and passed just about everybody, twice, in the first session. Fortunately I didn't :derp: and crash being a show off :lolol:

Later in the day I overheard the people pitted next me noting that the "KTM exited the turns like a rocket, but my corner speed was a bit meh" After hearing this I hounded them from behind for a session, passed them the next, and made sure they didn't catch me on the last. It was all in fun, but one of the guys did acknowledge my ability to turn the wick up when needed.

He was a n00b but not a :derp: :rudy: and actually interested in learning stuff for himself, so that's cool.

Not bike-related but there was also a 16-year-old girl at autox last weekend just starting to learn how to drive in a stock miata. She'd gone to our school the week before and seemed reasonably interested in learning mechanical stuff too. There are some kids who still want to know how to use a lift thingie.

Many grom parts in. Just need to get some oil and chain lube.

Looked at the power commander caned tunes, man they add a couple degrees timing EVERYWHERE and up to 6 at high load/rpm

Video from a red flag shortened session last weekend at Putnam. The rider went down in T4 and got a ride in the ambulance back to his pit with a leg/ankle injury. He can be seen on ground to right of the track at the 7:59 mark.

quick video of noise level comparison between stock and my new exhaust, intake, and t00n.

Its good for 2-3 more MPH, definitely feels like it has more pep in its step through the gears. All in all :notbad:

In the video I feel like the exhaust sounds alot louder than it is on the bike. Probably due to me taping my remote mount mike to the back of the helmet to cut out some wind noise. On the bike the intake is just as loud as the exhaust. The intake was actually louder with the db killer installed.

It's been almost two months since the bike was laid down. I'm finally taking it to get fixed.

I dont think I could TOTD with my bike. I'm just not experienced enough. So the miata would go.
