Anyone have any budgeting experience or used excel? I am talking about like budget examining skills. I applied to this job, and this is a huge component of it. I played up my experience a bit, so If I get an interview it might be good to actually know shit haha. I have not used excel for serious work in ages.

By budget examination do you mean finance bro stuff?

Yeah. Think like examining a company budget or an agency budget. Using quantitative measures to see how money is being used and stuff. The job has many components I would like, and I used to work more with numbers so I said what the hell I will apply. They didn't really say you need that direct experience, but I played up my experience a bit. I have more of the policy and analytical skills since I am a licensed attorney, but I don't have the numbers skills.

I am looking into some things online to grasp some basics since I can definitely learn on the job. I thought about doing some training, but most of the stuff I see costs money. I am getting ahead of myself here since I don't even have an interview and might never get one, but useful skills to have anyway.

My Rainier was tits doe. Lucked out and got a room at the Paradise Inn at the top of the mountain. Was awesome. No internet no cell service just good beers clear skies and tons of stars at night. Saw Saturn and Jupiter through a telescope and learned about the constellations.

Hikes were mind blowing there. So pretty. Wildflowers everywhere. Hiked over snow. Saw glaciers. Saw melt water waterfalls. Saw marmots about 4 feet away from me eating flower tops. Wild.
