this is all good news.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:12 pm A friend and I went out for a drive last night. 2.5 hours of tearing up some empty back roads. We eventually found our way an hour from home and at a lake campground. The car performed ALMOST perfectly. The engine didnt get hot (thank you koyo radiator) I still want to do the reroute though. But the clutch did start to slip on me. Which means it will not hold at all once I get the MS ecu and start tuning. So its now time to order a happy meal.
Also ordered a Megasquirt ECU earlier this week.
Not for my bank account. Im thinking of just having my flywheel resurfaced instead of getting a new one. It will save me $300 and make my wallet much happier.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:19 pmthis is all good news.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:12 pm A friend and I went out for a drive last night. 2.5 hours of tearing up some empty back roads. I had the MS pnp so if you need halp i can try to recall things
Thank you. I might hit you up. Did you do self tuning? Im thinking the tuner locally who specializes in miatas might be best for my initial tune. And then I will fine tune for daily driving and cold starts which ive heard are difficult with aftermarket ecus.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:19 pmthis is all good news.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:12 pm A friend and I went out for a drive last night. 2.5 hours of tearing up some empty back roads. Youre the second person to tell me that. Which is odd because their website really recommends the super light one.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:24 pmeh. cars cost money. the hobby aint cheap.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:20 pm

honestly on a boosted car I'd skip the LW flywheel too and save the $$.
I love light flywheels. Some people hate themBarnes93cb wrote:Youre the second person to tell me that. Which is odd because their website really recommends the super light one.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:24 pm eh. cars cost money. the hobby aint cheap.

Im sure I would enjoy the light flywheel. But at this moment in time I could use the $300 for other purposes. The main one being the eventual purchase of proper wheels and tires. These gaudy 17s are so bad.troyguitar wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:33 pmI love light flywheels. Some people hate themBarnes93cb wrote:
