Honestly this and the Occam seem pretty similar, the difference being the Hei Hei loses out on a :jalepenis: of travel and has less of a warranty.
how much is the Hei Hei?
$4700 :yikes: but pretty nice spec on a carbon frame

My bike lists at $4199 with an SLX crankset, XT drivetrain and a 34 FitGrip fork and a lifetime warranty.

I'd be very hesitant to drop coin on a carbon bike with a 3 year warranty. I'd look for at least 5 years if not lifetime.

I think you need to fledwax on some XTR drivetrain parts... :hue:

Yep the Orbea is the better buy overall.

I can't justify the scratch for XTR when XT is pretty much the same tech just slightly heavier.

SLX is the true value play with the exception of cassettes. Usually the XT cassette and chain is where your money is best spent. Above SLX level you're getting a really minor improvement for a lot more $$

Love the Horsethief minus the stupid SRAM drivetrain/brakes.
:gtfo: (but I agree on the brakes)

Horsethief's major issue is the stupid 3 year warranty.

Zil and I saw this bike on a ride at Mercer early this year right after you first mentioned it.

That color scheme is timeless and the bike is fucking gorgeous.

Yeah, I'm :notsure: on the SRAM stuff...
I'd have to spend some time with a 29er to find out if I like the size if I were really in the market. Fled's 27.5 is :megusta: and I felt totally comfortable on it.

I tried going down to a 27.5 and it felt like a toy to me, so I stuck with the 29er.
I tried riding a few 29ers and the wheels just felt massive to me coming from 26" wheels.

Pretty nice. Aluminum frame at $4500 MSRP doe, you gotta really want it at that price. Much easier to stomach at $3200.

Too :waxer: for my budget anyway. Wife is already unhappy with the idea of the $1,550 I wanted to spend on that Superfly before it sold. She'd just laugh at me if I asked for a $3,200 bike. :lolol:
