That car doesn't even have enough power to get to a speed where spoilers are functional :disgust:

The fact we live only a few hours away from one another and have yet to :meat: up is a bit wrong.

Also the engine mounts have been installed onto the Miata. The old ones were starting to separate and crack at a few places. The shake under load has diminshed some. But I still have the rocking when I release the gas pedal. Its leading me to lean towards something clutch related. I forsee a new clutch in my future. Either from the issues of it being possibly misaligned. Or due to slip once I turn the boost up on the car.

Ive been researching a full tune on the turbo kit and it seems like the tranny and rods might not take the full power this turbo can dish. So its either a low boost tune or build the car time.

Options are pretty simple yet expensive.

1) upgrade clutch and run low boost forever until things eventually break
2) clutch and build engine
3) buy spare engine and tranny, build them, run all the boosts
4) upgrade clutch and run low boost until I can afford option 3

I would love option 4 but that is going to require some serious capital on my part. Im just going to help that the engine holds up long enough for me to get the capital together for a proper build.

Its the Voodoo II. So the same as the FMII but without the injectors and ecu. I want to do those modifications to fully unlock the potential of the kit.

Has the FM manifold, garret GT2560R, voodoo fuel controller, exhaust, and intake.

lots of people do that without modding the internals. might decrease engine life, but so what? no build is bulletproof.

This I know. But I beat on my car pretty regularly. And im planning some track days and autox.

I think ill do the FMII stuff and just run slightly lower boost.

So my large suit case doesn't fit the trunk. But barely fits the front seat with the top up.

Must not have had time to get the travel size and had to stick with the regular ones for this trip.
