You will write up the experience whether somebody asks or not.max225 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 5:04 am
Hooned this all day. Renault Megan RS cup or whatever. With giant ass brembros and 265 fwd hp
Very fun car.... but holy torque steer and that thing lights up the :235:s at 40mph
Great steering too... but a few "french" car quirks... I can write up the entire experience in case anyone is curious.

I am curious on what you think as the car I borrow when I visit Turkey is also a Megane as well, except it's a 2004, sedan and 85 hp turbo diesel. Pretty fun car for an appliance, and dat diesel torque doesn't make it as slow, felt like 150ish hp imo.max225 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 5:04 am

I will predict he will say something good about the clutch and transmission

I read up on it. Seems to be the GTI alternative in Europe. Probably better handling with lower rent interior.MexicanYarisTK wrote:I will predict he will say something good about the clutch and transmission

it is a GTI competition. I know the 2004 Megane's interior is roughly similar to mk4's and mk5's in terms of quality, but the design seems to be ahead of time. The Megane I borrow in particular has interior parts that are falling apart, mostly interior door pull trims are peeling.

In Melbourne today and I'm going down the great ocean highway... let's see if it beats highway 1 in Cali.
So far Australia is fucking awesome in most ways other than booze prices ...
