Does anyone else in their mid 30's have, despite the number of accusations, a reeeeally hard time accepting that one of the most popular 80s dads is a serial rapist? He even has a series of kids books about issues facing kids while growing up. We stock a bunch of them.

I generally am and about a lot of this shit where men are being assumed to be guilty until proven innocent beyond a doubt and even if proven innocent they're already fucked for life... being accused of a crime should not be sufficient cause for your whole career being destroyed.Do Work, Son wrote:Does anyone else in their mid 30's have, despite the number of accusations, a reeeeally hard time accepting that one of the most popular 80s dads is a serial rapist? Obviously it's complicated because rich people do better than expected in court, but I don't think we should completely ignore due process either.

You would like it.

Why are you limiting your question to people in their mid 30's? I grew up with this guy, laughing at his shows in the 70's and his stand up appearances on Johnny Carson and his comedy records and the Fat Albert cartoons. I was completely gobsmacked by this revelation.Do Work, Son wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 5:35 pmDoes anyone else in their mid 30's have, despite the number of accusations, a reeeeally hard time accepting that one of the most popular 80s dads is a serial rapist? Because I didn't know him as a comedian, I knew him as Dr. Cliff Huxtable and the funny Jello pudding guy. It's just crazy to me and I didn't want to believe the first few accusations but now the number is at dozens.wap wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 6:59 pmWhy are you limiting your question to people in their mid 30's? I get it. I first knew him as a great stand up comedian and story teller (he told the funniest stories of his childhood in Philly), then on the TV show I Spy, then the Fat Albert Cartoons, then the Cosby Show.Do Work, Son wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 8:18 pmBecause I didn't know him as a comedian, I knew him as Dr. Cliff Huxtable and the funny Jello pudding guy. People gon people. It doesn't shock me.
It also doesn't impact the fact that I enjoyed his entertaining.
