Prices are already coming down a bit IMO. 6-12 months and we'll see a big decrease.

I wanna say I remember people in the subreddit /r/askcarsales said this will be like this for at least a year, possibly upwards of a year and a half or two.

It really depends … given no more “Covid” slowdowns on the new vehicles. (Big assumption)

This is what I’m thinking:
Non desirable cars will start coming down within 6 months but not to pre 21 levels.
Desirable cars/trucks will stick at msrp or more and equally high used for 1 year. Until more desirable cars get made. Which seems like it would take a while and certainly longer than 6 months. (Desirable = bronco/wrangler/raptors etc)

There are many variables though…
If the city office culture roars back. Then cars will get dumped like crazy. And that will be a crazy double whammy to the market

:wtf: shit like that keeps
Happening …
This happens all the time now around Detroit. There's no normal rain events, just these reoccurring "once in a lifetime" monsoon storms that overpower the ancient crumbling water drainage infrastructure. Highways flooded 10 feet deep all over the region, house basements flooded with sewage water, it was actually part of the reason we left. Paying $12k+ a year in taxes and still getting shit (literally) services.
