Today was a bust.

Philly breh wanted $11k for his 2013 Scion tC w/46k mi on trade.
Comps are selling for $9-9.5k. Trade value is 7-7.5k tops.

Delivered a sold unit.

And found out that my sold deposit is a credit

So, what could've been a three car delivery day was only one.

But that's what he needs out of it.

After 45 min of driving it I'm very glad we got the extra miles ($15 bucks a month for 12k instead of 10). It is a VERY nice place to live and we will be using them.

It should be a great road trip car with all that room in the hatch.

Best to document a full service if it's a lease. Did you get the VW maintenance package? Should have asked them to throw it in, it's dirt cheap.

It is $69 for an oil change... there is nothing else that needs to be done in the first year. How does that even influence a buying decision.

But I didn't think VW dealer service was all that outrageous. I mean, the first 3 years were free so but even afterwards I kept taking it to VW in hopes that it would get fixed right and not get fucked up by some clueless shop monkeys.

I'm not saying DD it, but maybe a few days a week. Split the balance more. It's a fucking $5k car, enjoy it.

That's what I'd do. I mean... I wouldn't be overly worried about paint chips and windshield dings on a $5k car.
