It's not an S? Has an S grille and badges on the fenders?

It's 7.5 hours from my house...otherwise I'd go look at it at least. Looks clean and relatively low miles for being 9 years old.

Funny because if I could drive across Lake MI, it would only be ~4 hours. FB marketplace goes by geographic radius, not driving distance.

I was wondering what that was. Can these things be flat towed safely? Other than axle and wheel bearing wear, of course.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 10:57 amOnly red flag I see is the tow bar mount in the front grille.
Those wheel bearings and axles have way more miles than you think, I'd bet.

I'll go out on a limb when I state that the Man, the Legend, AKA the Living Relic, has more than 191k on his person. However, the centuries of varying transportation have all taught him that too old is not wise, whether it be a or a car built by[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 7:50 pm191k miles is a mere stones throw for an ancient creature like you.

These literally seem more like go kart and less so like car. I’m having a tough time with that. But I’m sure this is a blast 2 weekends a monthCaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 12:43 pm https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1998-lotus-elise/

That is the "race specification" of the Elise so definitely not something designed to be driven on the road, but damn if it wouldn't be a riot on track.max225 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 12:47 pmThese literally seem more like go kart and less so like car. No AC (not optioned), and it’s the 2WD, AND it’s overpriced... but still a rare thing to show up on craigslist nearby

Oh wow, same! When I was a kid I wanted one really bad for no reason. Random car to want in Michigan because they're super rare here.

It really is. This seems like a great buy. These were somewhat unique in size as tweeners between mid and full size.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 12:40 pm https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/d/ ... 21104.html
This is an epic "overlander" IMO.
