I like what these guys are doing. When I’m ready for metal bumpers and new fenders, they will definitely be on my radar.

Very true.. just hoping will cut me a deal on some Brotiforms and then I’ll cut my springs myself.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 4:00 pm So the tapout sticker, monster flat brim hat, and vape cloud should be plug and play from the GTI? Save some money there.

Why would you get those bumpers?SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 4:00 pm http://www.metalcloak.com/JK-Wrangler-F ... -s/254.htm

Waxed mentioned metal bumpers since the Willy’s comes with plastic ones, and I like the idea. Especially for the rear with the hopping in and out. Powdercoated metal bumper will take much more of a beating than a painted plastic bumper.

Can’t you put like a clear sticker over it ?
Seems bizzare to get an entire bumper for no reason

Definitely. I'm not rushing out to buy stuff to throw at the Jeep tomorrow, but it's fun to shop around and get different ideas for how I could end up making it look. Clear-bra style sticker is 5/7 the most economical quick fix.

Right. I think I mentioned it in the OT thread when Waxer and I were talking, but my plan is to drive it pretty much stock for the first year or so and see how much actual Jeeping I do in it, and then make modifications based on my usage. I'll still look at stuff that would just be fun to do though and post stuff up in here.

With Wrangler's having such a massive aftermarket, it's fun to look at all the stuff that's available for them.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2017 4:35 pmRight. I don’t see a single situation a stock jeep can't handle. If the situation arises where you need mods to go through it you likely purchased the wrong vehicle for the job and may fuck it up or total it due to extreme off roading.
I get the modding for looks but I don’t see a situation where 37s are necessary on a heep that isn’t a dedicated trail rig. At which point wouldn’t it make more sense to purchase one of those Polaris things and tow it with a stock jeep ?

I'll need to do more night driving to get a better feel for the stock lights at night, but they seemed fine on my drive to Vons last night. I'm cruising up into the mountains next weekend for an Oktoberfest, so I'll use that as the real test of whether I actually need more output.

It wasn't posted for inspiration doe. Just brought up the headlights because you mentioned that they need improvement. Here's a Jeep with aftermarket headlights, and it has a black grill which I think looks good.max225 wrote:Have you seen the abomination posted in here ? For mod “inspiration”?!
Weren't you ...
to Jeeps and trying to decide whether you'd Heep or M3 like two days ago? Why such polarity ?
