Shitty in what way?
Bad MPG
Bad handling
Bad build quality
Bad performance

That is basically every single SUV ever made.
I never drove it but the build quality was atrocious. The interior had a design and panel gap like a C5 but was arguably less durable. I'm sure handling and performance were mediocre as you'd expect.

That. I never drove one but a coworker used to have one. It was a piece of shit IMO. Disgusting interior, horrible build quality, anemic 5 cyl motor, etc. I'm sure @detroit would argue that it's the best SUV of its time but I was totally unimpressed.

It is sad that Corvette blatanly copied it though. I don't think "all cars from that era look the same" at all. The C5 is like a 1.1:1 scale version of the RX7 from the front/side

The C5 design certainly copied the FD like Max said, but :aintcare: , I think they both look pretty sweet. Everybody loves the heroes of their childhood :doe:

My dad's expedition drove a lot better than that car actually, slightly faster, handles better, the expedition had soft touches that doesn't feel cheap mostly on doors (unlike the trailblazer). I can't really compare his current explorer now since it is essentially a unibody.

But it was still reliable up to 110k miles, that thing took cross country trip once, multiple trips to NY, some teenage abuse when I borrowed it, and nothing really went wrong, except when the engine got tired (makes that typical american tired noises) towards end of ownership
Expedition is more expensive no?
it is and in a different class

That has got to be a 1 of 1.
Manuel non abused, 4x4 I say it’s actually worth the asking price because of the rarity and condition. Wonder why the guy is selling after preserving it all these years

It is completely :megusta: all around. Lot of money for that... but awesome. You'd basically need to treat it like a collector or museum piece now. It could end up appreciating in value. I'd want to drive it though which would absolutely obliterate it's "value."

Shut up max. I'm looking at nearly 20 year old cars I plan to autox the living shit out off. As long as the frame straight IDGAF about the history. Many of these also have rebuilt titles due to consuming engines early in their life.

Continue to endlessly debate depreciation curves with others till yall finally iterate down the cheapest thing to own over time are lightly used derpy compact cars. :micdrop:

The only issue is the lack of bench seat in Comanches but man.... who f'ing cares at that point it has everything else. If this was $10k I'd be considering it.

R title is fine if you're turning it into a track rat. That particular one looks pretty beat up, but could be salvageable. Nothing is overly complex on this car.
