Lack of aftermarket is concerning. The smarter buy is Honda, but the ‘Berg is an exotic thing.

I'll just say this: you already have one oddball thing. Do you want to double down on the PAIN and be a brand snob or be a :scrooge:

Yeah I get it. I think I’ve settled back on a Honda. I’ve got a guy in AZ willing to make me a good :dill: on one and shipping doesn’t look like it’ll be too terrible.

I do have a fetish for interesting/weird bikes, which is what attracted me to the Berg . The 70* thumper is unique in its own right, but the whole bike is an interesting exercise in mass centralization and only weighs 260lbs to boot. Would be as interesting to ride as it would be to talk about.

The deciding factor (aside from cost) really comes down to the lack of aftermarket to make the bike “mine”.

The new V4 Panigale. This bike sounds like a video game....and makes 226hp :mindblown:

I’m withholding judgement until I see it in the flesh. In the pics, it doesn’t look that great to me - seems off proportionally or something.

That's not a seat... it's a black indentation in the body.

Doesn’t this weigh something like 195kg’s? More than 1hp per kg seems :impressive: as hell.

You'd definitely feel the extra weight. I don't think going from 180-190hp to 226 is even worth having the extra fat.

Panigale weighs less wet, than my bike does dry :doe: The KTM is porky (the engine is heavy).

Generally retro/neo-retro styling isn’t my thing. But this thing - :megusta: unfortunately it’s only a concept.

790 Duke unveiled. Design is a bit meh, but deleting the rear fender, ditching the mirrors for something sleaker, and maybe a rear seat cover or seat delete would help.

105hp @ 418lbs at the curb is :notbad: Aftermarket exhaust w/ cat delete should shave another 10lbs easy.

Sharing the side profile because it looks better than the 3/4 view IMO.

True. Considering making offer with no motard setup and sourcing my own ramz. Wish TN guy hadn’t mismatched the plastics. I’d prefer red and white.

I wouldn't pay more than 3000 for a xr650 or 2000 for a xr600R. That's the going rate. I looked at them for almost a year. I'm happy with my choice.
