Update. I'm fine other than some superficial rash. And being sore. Who knew hitting the ground at speed was painful.
I'll be back on two wheels once the insurance gets sorted out.
Also that track day sounds both frustrating and fun. A little hooning for you. But no solid laps.

Bike is torn down and parts are being ordered tomorrow. The insurance check isn't even here yet. I have an awesome shop to work with.

Check those chin straps kids:
Edit: Video is safe for the squeamish - rider was uninjured (and extremely lucky).

Surprised....
My helmet doesn't "feel right" unless that strap is nice and tight. I've been distracted and put my gloves on and pull away but at 20mph i'll know hey... this doesn't feel right.
Rider did a great job of keeping his head up during the tumble.

It's a bit old, but I'm curious. Anyone to offer input before I contact the seller and try to arrange a looksie?

Oldish bike, but miles are relatively low. Seems like a check pads, rotors, chain/sprocket, fork seals and fluids. Signs of leaks, or attempts to clean them up.Melon wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 6:15 pm https://batonrouge.craigslist.org/mcy/d ... 35821.html
