Pretty awesome. Not sure it's worth 40K but I guess it could be depending on level of fit and finish.Melon wrote: ↑Wed May 10, 2017 11:15 am This isn't the greatest car in the world...

Is there any kind of benefit to a "wedge shaped" engine ?

It's just the heads that create the "wedge" shape (the valves are canted at an angle vs being flat with the piston), and technically, most modern heads have a wedge shaped combustion chamber. The benefits are increased squish area (flat part of piston meets flat part of head), which helps with efficiency and power. This was a bit radical in the 50's when they first came out. The intention was to replace the Hemi with these, but the Hemi kept performing, so it continued. Many argue that a wedge can be just as powerful as a Hemi.

I actually saw that car at a used dealership for sale looking exactly like that a year ago, and he bought it just like that. I remember the add saying $25,000 of mods dumped into this. No built not bought scenepoints for the seller.max225 wrote: ↑Fri May 12, 2017 12:07 pmWow someone spend Ferrari money on that thing nuts !MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Fri May 12, 2017 10:04 am Early 2000's fast and furious called, they want their car
