Saw a post on vortex about a dude test driving a 10th gen Civic Si that had a slipping clutch and a search turned up that Vit Tuning blog.

Oh well. Point is, they apparently tried to make it too much like a GTI. Weak stock clutch and all.
I am willing to bet that if a person isn't a fking vaping :fullretard: a stock tuned GTI on a stock clutch will last 100k miles.

Stage 1 tuned GTI lasted 160k miles on a stock clutch here. 120k miles of those were tuned.

if you're going to push the limits get a bigger turbo and exhaust manifold.
No way brah $600 tune makes that A4 as fast as an S4, save the $10k OEM engineers are retards. Also, it's reliable af. My mom's sister's illegal alien adopted son has had a tune on his Audi for 750 miles and literally nothing has gone wrong, car is stupid reliable.
lmao my misunderstanding. Buy a 4g63 if you want to mod. /thread

As long as it's a six bolt you're golden. :like: 7 bolts were the problem.

Yeah with some bolt ons your car is as quick as the 1.5T :jalepenis: new one and likely more reliable long term.
Yep, exhaust and a tune is supposed to be good for 25ish whp, I’d be happy with that. Figure that would be like 235/240ish crank for a 3000 lb car. Still not fast but definitely not bad.

About the same as my car really (or an E36 M3), it's enough to be fun.

A little more oomph and your car would be :tits:
That engine uncorks really nicely with some minor mods. If that car was out when I was looking at GTIs, I'd probably have been in an Si. I liked the motor more than the super high revving K20.

My stock clutch was totally fine with toon. Mostly the problem was with :fullretard: mods... which really wouldn't be that fun anyway, IMO.

Vaping looks dumber than smoking cigarettes, which I did not think was possible.

So do I. I HAD to get intake, header, and a tune for that car to do anything below 5500 rpms for daily living. Towards the end I was still getting tired of having to rev it out so much to really move.

What floored me with the K20 was taking a right turn at an intersection in 2nd gear like everyone does, and punching it and it just had absolutely nothing to give. Zero. Even at 4k it was still just wheezing. So you've got to downshift to 1st around a common turn? Good lawd.
