No pics yet, keep forgetting to take some, but as an update to the tonneau cover, it's fantastic. I wish I'd been able to do it sooner, but life is what it is really. The bed seems like it's stayed nice and dry through all the rain/snow/ice we've gotten the last month, so it's sealing well and doesn't look like I'll need to adjust it as much, or at all really, which is nice as well.

Interview I had on Tuesday would be a 13 mile commute 1 way which is solid IMO. Saves about 9 miles and 10 minutes off my current commute. No company car but also not a regional company like I'm at now so I wouldn't be wasting my miles driving all over the Northeast.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:34 amYeah, you do a lot more driving than I do - my current commute has me solidly in the land.

I initially liked the one that came on the Taco but seems like the rubber on the bottom doesn't seal as well as time goes on and has been letting a bit more water in when its raining.Devilchrono wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:34 am No pics yet, keep forgetting to take some, but as an update to the tonneau cover, it's fantastic. Pretty neat ! I dig em! My only minor gripe is the size of the wheels and tires they look a bit dwarfed by the crazy to think that it is a whopping 3 feet longer than a[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:32 pmI kinda like the green but feel it needs more green.

Oh interesting... well they are a comparable sizes truk and close to tires.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 12:23 amCorrection. Tires on the ZR2 are smaller than my factory tires.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 12:04 am
Amazingly the tires on the ZR2 are only .14” taller than my factory tires on the Bro Forks.
265/65R17 to a 265/75R16.
I just need to lift my truck 2" and put some rock sliders on and I'd be satisfied.

I think you missed the wheel size. Yours are taller, but by just under an inch.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 12:35 amMy stock tires are 3" taller. That's a worth of rubber.
Honestly, other than looks, "small" tires are fine on the ZR2. The truck is extremely capable as it is. The real magic to me is how well it drives on road. That's a combination of the wider tracks and magic gold shocks.
Having driven many lifted vehicles, this is the first one that doesn't ride and handle like

The green is quite gray, unfortunately...even in the sun. It's a subtle color.
My favorite color on the ZR2 is blue.
The old Lazer blue (my truck) was really Blurple
(I actually don't have any pictures of it clean, photos don't do it justice anyway)
And the new Kinetic Blue is just BLOOO

I like the green, bloo is 5/7, but I always really liked earthy colors and hues on trucks.Detroit wrote:The green is quite gray, unfortunately...even in the sun. It's a subtle color.

Maybe I'll go drive a ZR2 for lunch today. I'd like to sample this on-road prowess.
