It's a rare and interesting package that I think has a lot of value to the right buyer (such as yourself), it just may take some time for that person to come along.

All I can do is make it as attractive as possible.
Need to do some work on the brakes, and give it a good cleaning.

Been looking at AT tires, something with a snowflake rating. The stock tires on the Taco were pretty bad in the snow last year. Have a friend that works at jack williams so hopefully can find something and get the employee hook up

Happy with mine thus far.

Duratrac and Wildpeak A/T3W tires are truly a step above the rest for an all terrain tire in the snow. Personally I run K02s most of the year and Blizzak winter tires for winter.

Just placed my order. xd301 turbine wheels 17x9 and kumho road venture AT51 tires
Tires seemed to have solid reviews everywhere I checked so hopefully they don't disappoint

Anyone here have a 4Runner? I like 4Runners. Curious to hear how they drive, handle, ride, etc. My work Exploder is horrible, typical SUV harsh and wallowy around turns. I know the 4Runners have a more advanced suspension system but not sure how that actually translates to real world scenarios.
The powertrain isn't appealing really. 4.0L V6 and a 5AT from the Taco. When I drove Tacomas I didn't think they were gutless or slow, but this thing has a lot of extra weight than a crew cab Taco, to the order of 500 lbs, and all that weight is up top in the roof and glass. Older 4Runners could be had with a V8.
Why the questions? I was driving around with a friend last night in his Toyota Tundra picking up a couch in the city. And man.... that thing just gobbled up shitty roads NFG, even unloaded. I wouldn't call it enjoyable but definitely not stressful and way more than my car. Too long for the city, really (we had to make a few multi-point turns) but a 4Runner is shorter overall.
