It's a fact of life so I've accepted it. FE made it look a little better than F1 IMHO.

thats pretty shit.

Like the ford GT racekar being actually slower than the production model... restricting its HP because other teams pushing a 10+ year old platform/engine...

I get BOp trying to make the racing a bit tighter, but jeezz...when you play by rules...get penalized .... sanctioning body admits you were following but penalizes you anyway...

I'm ok with BOP - I'm not OK BOP penalty being administered during a race.

You don't get to change the rules during the race/game.

Or decide you want to write a new one because someone exploited the existing rules to their advantage better than the others.

Formula E is already a thing. E motorbikes seems like a logical progression.

racing is about "win on Sunday sell on Monday" AND technology development. I think the market for electric bikes is very narrow, and even more narrow for performance oriented ones.

I like the concept but am suspicious of any commercial successes.

E motorbikes are already running the TT. Makes sense they will become more mainstream.

:notsure: Harley will bring a production e-bike to market next year. Ducati plans electric motorcycle and scooter by 2020. Honda and Yamaha have concepts/prototypes. KTM has an off-road e-bike. Plus several other start-ups/small companies building capable things.

From what I read, Formula E is dumping a shit ton of money into their operations and is not profitable. I hope that changes. I'd sad that the Montreal race got dropped but that has nothing to do with finances and more to do with the new city leadership not wanting the series. I would watch MotoE!

5/7 Helicopter video of Pikes Peak. Fairly certain the rider is wearing a chest mounted GoPro and they over-layed the audio with the copter footage...Lots of wonderful intake noise happening.

Production class at Bathurst. Civic vs. Celica (sel-LEE-kah). Stick around for the slow-mo at 9:40
