Got a recall notification for the Jeep. Brake light sensor replacement. Sounds like if you're in an automatic the bad sensor can signal that the brake is pressed allowing the vehicle to be shifted out of park. Replacement parts aren't available yet, but I'll get the work done once they are even though
2018 JL order cut-off: 7/19/2018
2018 JL production end: 10/27/2018
2019 JL order banks open: 9/13/2018
2019 JL Production launch: 10/29/2018
To get this back on track. 2019 model wont' be out until NOVEMBER 2018! That's a long time from now... looks like Heep is actually running the 2018 JL for an entire year.
The Jeep Wrangler is remarkably popular]. In fact, it was the #1 most wanted car in America as of April last year according to CarMax. It was their top searched vehicle in 26 states and in the top 5 in every other state except Minnesota. That’s months before the relaunch was first announced.
our little DFD forum is just a cross section of 'Murica

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

Wow, that's
Usually that kind of stuff occurs at the model year changeover to keep from pissing people off like this. That's a really odd move.

Not like this thing wasn't incredibly expensive as is.

The cost of logistics might legit be going up.
