We had record turnout here in Louisiana, and I waited for about 45 min to vote.
Tomorrow I see the lines being over 2 hours in some places.
My polling place is the elementary school a block away. I could walk there. It's so heavily one sided it likely won't matter. I'd likely go in there and vote Johnson just to vote 3rd party even though his consumption tax and all that shit won't work.

You gotta do what you gotta do. HRC sucketh, and hearing her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, but no Trump.[user not found] wrote:Proudly but less than happily voting for HRC. There was a JKU parked in my gym parking lot yesterday festooned with Trump material, including "Christian Conservative for Trump.".....and old woman was driving it with Mississippi plates. I did not ask whether she was headed for the Gay Pride parade in downtown Palm Springs (which is as redundant as St. Paddy's day parades in Boston, but I digress). Anyway, she's a real voter, and she likely voted 3 weeks ago for Drumpf.

I need to decide whether to vote for Rand Paul or Jim Gray.
Also if it even matters, I'm pretty sure Paul has it locked up by a landslide.

Gray isn't that much of a dem. He's still all about military spending, coal mining, etc. He's a dem because he's gay, that's about it.[user not found] wrote:Traditional Republican who lies and says he's a libertarian or traditional Democrat?troyguitar wrote:I need to decide whether to vote for Rand Paul or Jim Gray.

Red state is red. No point in voting for me, I might stay home. The only thing I haven't looked up yet is city council. There are 7 people up for 6 seats and 6 of them are the incumbents, but that's all I know so far.
I am thinking about going to vote for the ky supreme court judge - it's a rich guy from centuries of rich family lyfe vs a poor guy who actually had to work to make money. if the poor guy has a shot in hell but I feel like voting for him anyway.

Most of them are unopposed or an incumbent rich person vs random normal guy who will be lucky to get 5% of the vote.[user not found] wrote:Those local votes matter way more for your daily life anywaytroyguitar wrote:

Then I'd be the guy who gets 7 votes. What for? I don't represent KY values anyway, I don't deserve to represent KY voters.[user not found] wrote:Run next time

I could be decent as a judge but I'm not about to spend $300k on law school and work for 20 years to get there. That's the only publicly elected position I can think of where I might do a decent job.

Infamous is voting Gary too. My dad did, and we have a few friends claiming to do the same. There's just so much with the options, that people can't even. And I support it.

I don't see how there's a real shot. Popular vote or otherwise.[user not found] wrote:He won't but he does have a real shot. If he wins he will lose the popular vote.Detroit wrote:I'll be so glad when this day is over.
