FWIW, I used to work as a sub of a sub of a sub (yes, 4th degree removed) for a place that worked on F-35. So I know first hand how bad the waste is.

Doesn't matter though. This will be the last manned combat fighter from the US. The rest will be drone or remote controlled.

I think its a front really. There's no way we turn out a product that's worse than our existing 1970s designed planes and showcase it to the world as the best we can do.

Gubmn't has more they're not showing us for sure. Probably all drone / remote aircraft since they can out-maneuver a manned fighter just due to what the human body can and cannot endure.
