I was just informed that my Stab 2 is delayed by two weeks..... the pharmacy that gave it must have been one of the places that used second doses as first doses and now has to wait to be restocked...... Sigh....
So do you now have to start over and get the first one before getting the second one (again)? Or will 2 second ones still work ok?
The range is 28 to 42 days..... I'm guessing the dosages are identical, although this point I'm not sure they would tell us.....
Based on my research three weeks is optimal for Pfizer, four for Moderna. Either one you are OK up to six weeks, past that is
Funny you mention it, I had a hard time booking my second one after this morning. I think I'm going to have to drive an hour each way to Podunkville, but I have an appointment out there for three weeks from Friday. I will keep trying to get the one I rode my bike to this morning in downtown Charlotte , but I have a turst worthy plan B.
So this friday is the first shot?
It was this morning. 3/26 was the earliest I could get an appointment. I could certainly pursue other avenues for finding the second shot, but I'd rather just have an appointment and not have to fuck with lines/crowds/etc.

I was wondering about this very piece... everyone trying to get round 1 in asap... but are they really keeping round 2 on ice for when it is due.

I got an appointment for round 2, at the same place 15 minutes from my work, when I got the first one the other day. They didn't do the same for you?

Nah, massive healthcare system company - once the first dose is done, they send a message in their portal to schedule the second dose... There are no appointments haha.

Post up your symptoms/reaction if any plz
Arm was sore, similar to a flu shot. It started about 1-2 hours post injection. I'd say it peaked 4-6 hours after, still present but very mild. Nothing major, didn't even pop an ibuprofen or anything as it wasn't necessary.

Hm. Interesting.
Our mass vaccination effort is largely being run here by the Illinois National Guard. Really 5/7 people I dealt with that day.
Dat .gov being professional and efficient.

So it's already waning for you? Excellent! Mine got worse through the day/evening and didn't start to lessen until the morning after.

I feel like it got worse again. It's still not bad, but I can definitely feel it.

Are you tired and or lethargic ?
Not really, stayed very productive with work, did more than the other team members and also diagnosed/fixed my C5 headlight issue, tested new bike rack, cleaned my shed a bit... Feeling totally normal other than sore arm (which has gotten a bit worse since last post).

I was surprised that my arm only starting hurting the second day....and away from the injection site...... a 2-3 on my pain scale with 5 being where I would take Tylenol or Advil

Weird that it would be away from the stab site. I'd put my pain at its worst at 3-4 on your pain scale.

Yep, Pfizer as well. My dad is the only one I know so far who got Moderna. Allegedly the Johnson & Johnson is now in Charlotte also.
My mom and a couple co-workers got Moderna. They all reported similar symptoms of some arm soreness for a day or so, except one coworker dude who had body aches and I think a mild fever for a day.
Interested to hear about the J&J juan.
