my gainz are seriously and if I didn't do that I'd probably just spend the money.
Do you even invest?

Got approved for an $8K loan. The wedding credit card, my other credit card, paypal account, lowe's card, and truck note all totaled about $5K in debt, on top of getting a Rainbow vacuum that the wife will help pay, but you have to use their credit.... which is a mind blowing 27% APR.
I've been blasting the highest credit card by avalanching it, while the other has 15 months of zero apr so I let it ride while I bomb the other's. But it's cheaper in the longrun to just get a quick loan to knock them all out and then move all of those payments to the more reasonable 10% debt consolidation loan. So instead of trickling away, I can drop $500-750 a month on this 8K one and get it taken care of cheaper.
Already paid off both cards, now I'm planning on using the card with the 1.5% rewards to pay off the other loans if I can (lowe's, etc), and then pay that card off asap.
If I can do it that is.
Once all of this is paid off and I get a little more thrown into my savings for a bigger emergency fund, I plan on changing my 401K contributions from 8% to somewhere around 12-15% to build up that even more. I feel like I'm behind on it and don't think I can max out yearly, but I'd like to contribute more than I'm currently putting in.

Ran thru some online calculators. The loan about should charge $1,300 in interest if I take the full 36 months to pay it, but I'm going to move ALL of my payments to it and it should cost around $300-400 in total interest. Normally I'm debt free, but I splurged on the sway bar and shocks, and then I needed 2 new front tires for the truck, which was unexpected... then a dog medical bill... And then the wedding stuff. I took out the new credit card specifically for the wedding bills because of the 0% apr for 15 months and because I wanted better rewards. I'll eventually stop using my other card completely but it'll be a good side line of credit if it's really needed.
I've pretty much been debt free for a few years, so this was the first time I actually had it accumulate. Not like I wasn't paying it off, I was spending $100 on most of them, and then I'd allocate $500 or so each month to a specific one.
2018 will be the year that I concentrate on building my savings up and figuring out some more investing I can do. I wiped out my emergency fund from getting the AC swapped (which we specifically saved up for).

Which alt? I am planning on dumping my Bitcoin Cash bonus ~ $1500 or so into an alt and just sit on it.
I belong to some WhatsApp group with some really smart crypto people, who suggest the following.
Ripple (XRP) - rising and rising. It used to be fractions of a penny. I bought in @ 90 cents, unfortunately. It's at $1.70 now. The protocol works, someone or a bank transferred $700,000,000 with a fee of less than a penny. It's insane. If someone bought 100,000 Ripple coins when they were $0.005, it would've only costed them $500, and now it's worth almost $200,000.
Verge (XVG) - bouncing around $0.12 - 16 cents. I have seen it at 23 cents. If their protocol comes through before the end of the year, it might near $1.
Stellar (XLM) - supposed to be like Ripple, but more consumer based
Cindicator (CND) + 40% today. unsure what this really is, but heard it might hit 15-20 cents. It's now at 8 cents.
Ripple (XRP) is all I can say. If all goes well with it, prob see $6 soon, maybe higher the Coinbase rumors are true!
If anyone wants in ask me for my referral link to Binance, let me know.

Those Porsche wheels I bought back in July for the 986S that I ended up not buying just finally sold on eBay last night. Paid $500, sold for $630 after eating ebay+paypal+shipping fees. 26% return on investment in half a year!

I started working full time around 23/24. Making all of around $40k/yr but mixed withschool.
2010 20k
2011 32k
2012 36k
2013 42k
2014 62k
2015 72k
2016 70k
2017 72k
so ive potentially had 406k run through my hands. Subtract an avg ballpark of 25% for the taxman. ~304k. I have saved about 18.5% of all that income in total over 8 years (including employer 401k match and interests from ~4 years)
Im full on how a typical 30yo can have 300k saved if Im above the average benchmark of income level.

Sorry but Carrier is the culprit. This has zero to do with NAFTA. Im sure there will be no Tweetdown either. The little man is not on the agenda for this current administration at all. Corp -Murica has nothing to fear at all. The show is over. Jobs are still going out of the country and incomes are not at all keeping up. More at 11 or 12 or 6am.
The top 40% have netted the majority of income and asset gains. Have you seen Congress even come close to addressing that?? NO its all trickle down or just plain trickelry to be mild about it. Opioid crisis continues - No action. Income disparity at an all time high - no action. Rates and oil rising and we are approaching full employment again(in jobs where most are making less than before), and banks are slacking on lending criteria. Sound familiar? 2006 anyone??

This guy claims to MAX out your 401k at a MINIMUM and then save 20% take home on top of that.
Hopefully you don't die before you can live like a king.
