I remember the first time that I ordered a hot dog out there and they asked me if I wanted everything on it so I said yes, thinking that they meant ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, maybe . The salad that was on top was a definite surprise

There's a place called Frank's on 5th here that does a Chicago dog that way and it is damn good. Never been to the windy city other than the airport so don't have anything authentic to compare it to doe.

If they use Vienna dogs and steamed poppyseed buns then it's probably prety authentic.stripethree wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 5:51 pm There's a place called Frank's on 5th here that does a Chicago dog that way and it is damn good. I'd be interested in legit Chicago deep dish but I have been craving a trip to Philly to eat at Pat's, Geno's and Jim's all in one day. My heart will be still with steak.

At least you'd save the only decent one for last in that order.stripethree wrote:I'd be interested in legit Chicago deep dish but I have been craving a trip to Philly to eat at Pat's, Geno's and Jim's all in one day. My heart will be still with steak.

I'm pretty basic on my dogs. Mustard and beanless chilli is the most I ever get.

Sheetz 2/$1 hot dogs are the best. Not because they are the actual best, but come on...so damn cheap.Calvinball wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 6:34 pmFour Sheetz chili dogs?[user not found] wrote:

Sheetz runs were extremely commonplace during and my college years.nakenyon wrote:Sheetz 2/$1 hot dogs are the best. Not because they are the actual best, but come on...so damn cheap.

They go to Sheetz all the time at work. It definitely contributes to the dispatcher 15 that almost everyone gains when they come work for us.Calvinball wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 6:52 pmSheetz runs were extremely commonplace during and my college years.nakenyon wrote:
