She spent the night in New York but boarded a plane about 40 minutes ago. She’s going to be late for hair and make up but we should be fine.

Yesterday was also one of our most uneventful of the year. It was our longest day of the year (6:00 am call time, finally in the door at home last night at 1:37 am.) but I’ll take that over issues. Also one of the coldest days we’ve had in Indiana so far and our couple took an open air carriage ride 18 blocks in downtown Indianapolis from their ceremony site to their reception site. I think our high temp yesterday with wind chill was 4. Brides are so dumb.

Other than that, a freaking terrible band made up of college students that I was pretty convinced were high schoolers until the bar carded them. Friends of the groom. I haven’t seen that many machine washable ill fitting button downs since my middle school choir recital. It was also their first time playing together as well as their first wedding. So much

Catering staff also dropped and shattered an heirloom cake topper in front of everyone.

But I’m done until Maaaaarccchhh!!!
