Not bad, hop note is kinda one sided to me despite the label claiming it is "piney, citrusy, and soft fruit flavor."

Still have a 4pck of that left in the fridge. It is in fact a lager. Fad, huh? You think it'll die down?Calvinball wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2017 9:55 am
Had this last night too. Yummy different take on the hazy New England ipa fad. This brewery only lagers.

It's making it's way to the larger distributed breweries, whereas you used to only be able to get a NE hazy IPA if you stood in line in Middleofnowhere, NH/MA/VT for three hours at 2 pm on a Wednesday. Whether they will keep making them is anyone's guess.Thedude wrote:Still have a 4pck of that left in the fridge. It is in fact a lager. Fad, huh? I really don't like all these releases in cans.
21st amendment is over this way and they release everything in cans. I went to their bar and tasted some of their beers from the tap vs the can. The bartender was trying to say you couldn't tell, but I picked them out each time.

There's a difference tap vs bottle too.

He probably couldn't tell the difference in a Cascade, Horizon, or Saaz hop tho...

I've been tempted to restart as well, but that is where my weight gain problems began.Calvinball wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2017 10:02 pm And agreed. I need to start brewing again.

You can't brew 15 gallon batches and have 90 gallons kegged with 30 more in the conicals w/o drinking a lot and adding some pounds. It was always a race to empty kegs before fermentation completed, and get the next batch brewing..
Now I think its better to just buy the beer and not deal with the killing of a day sanitizing, brewing and cleaning up.
