Not eating was one of the biggest mistakes I made. Get yourself some food!
I also regret not really enjoying the cupcakes we had selected.
I specifically ordered extra cake since we got 3 flavors for the 3 tiers and I wanted to make sure that there was enough left for us to try all 3. The rest of the food I've already tried at a tasting so I'm pretty on that.
I'd have been fine with KFC personally but the cake will be cool and not really cost that much. $273 IIRC for a fancy ass decorated 100 person cake.

Dang. That's the cheapest I've ever heard of a wedding cake costing. I've always heard of prices just getting inflated like crazy for wedding cakes. Good stuff.

We got a small fancy cake and then had the same cake made as sheet cake too. Saved a TON of money. Tasted fantastic. Still have nice pictures of us cutting a fancy cake.
Lots of moments that only I really noticed, so yeah overall it was a success. Dat ability to improvise was put to the test all day.
Just getting to the venue was an odyssey in itself; there was a scene from COPS blocking the road in my neighborhood (complete with stereotypical shirtless man in handcuffs in the middle of the only road out), then an ambulance blocking an intersection, then a funeral procession blocking the whole road 2 miles out, then google had the wrong address for the place I was supposed to go to pick up a lunch order on my way in... luck was in full force.
Rings were exchanged and giant checks were written.

I guess it wouldn't have been a wedding without luck.
Glad it all went well
Be sure to post up pics.
Are you happy?
Where are these mangos?
