:aintcare: the cars are probably way better with the turbro engine. I'll miss the sound and revs but that's it. And my car sounds fucking :megusta: so maybe I wouldn't miss the sound after all.
They're really fucking boring with the snail power. Fast yes, but... meh. It's like surgical precision. No character.

Traditionally, one of the best things about a Porsche has been the sound and the power delivery. The grunt of a flat six, the gradual rise of the torque curve as you power through the rev range, the unmuzzled cacophany of six cylinders behind your ear. It's something magical.

Without that, it's just a mid-engined Beetle with a lumpy drama-free Subaru engine.
Have you driven a new turbro one?

My Subaru engine has plenty of drama. :notsure:

Ouch, is it really that bad? No soundfucktor on the inside to make it seem like it sounds good?

IDK. Not what I'm after.

My ceiling on car purchase is about what I spent on this one, $35k. After that I really don't think it makes sense... man, you can really get into some awesome quality metal for that much money especially used.
I'd make an exception for a euro delivery Porsche or M car, just once. I've always wanted to experience that.
:dat: is still on my bucket list. Seeing friends do euro-delivery of their 991 GT3's was :jimp:

The guided tour put on enough mileage for break in before they went full ham on the unlimited sections of the autobahn.

I drove a new 718 Boxster S. It handled nicely, but... meh. I preferred the 981.

If you're buying a new GT3, :whocares: about things like that? WFO until it blows up, then call :[user not found]: to get a chopper sent to pick you up. Drive the Aston to dinner.

Update: jumped the Saturn and dropped off dry cleaning the other day. Was a nice 10th of a mile.

Still working on the last 20th. Planning on starting it tomorrow but hoping my neigbor isn't parked behind. Might need to clutch start it again.
