Versailles, Cairo, and Milan are few that pop into my head that are pronounced differently.
As the only published author in a well-known motorcycle publication in the room...
Sounds right to me.

Here's an interesting and can potentially cause an unnecessary road rage fight. I was going towards one of the local town centers, there's this secondary road that connects between the 2 main road, so you can access that area. Speed limit was 35, there are no crosswalks what so ever, no yield sign if there was a crosswalk.
On one of the intersections, I saw a couple on one whose appeared to be drunk while carrying an XL cup from taco bell or something (there aren't fast food places like that in that area, exception for places like chipotle). He set his first step on the road while I was already in the middle of intersection, the dude cussed me out hard and actually attempted to threw his drink onto my car, which he luckily missed after I showed him my DSG farts and kept yelling. By then I was already like 100 feet away. Usually this would really rile me up, but assuming he was drunk, I just continued minding my business. Especially after failing to hit my car, it already made it up anyway, knowing that he just wasted his drink for being a dumbass.
