I won't take the tuning company job, but I do want to apply to professional/admin level jobs while I'm still working at target where I can hopefully make 30-40k (or a wage I can at least afford to move out and live with gf on). I'd love to put my degree to good use. Although if I put in 6 good months at target with good numbers they might promote me to a position where I make the most use of my degree.

What are good numbers? People stopped? Legit curious. What metrics are you measured on?

A number is any of the following:

Prevention (obvious)
Recovery (if we manage to recover any stolen merchandise, or merchandise that is about to be stolen)
Known Theft Report (known stolen items that we are able to document via camera, pictures and narrative)

if we do any of these by making case/incident reports, then it counts as a number for us. So even if someone steals from us, if we have camera footage and pictures, we can still make a report and submit it to the district so as to document and prevent any further loss from that person and/or group.

So far I've been on my own for 2 weeks and I have 3 numbers. Normally we shoot for 10 numbers/month as an entire AP team for the store. Goals =/= actuality though, I'd say on average we do get about 10 numbers/month for the team.
